Our goal is to communicate God’s timeless truth to children by teaching His Word and pointing to Jesus as “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). We pray that children will respond by inviting the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts to worship God, walk with God, work for God and witness about God.
Each Sunday during the adult worship time, we have a specialized program for kids. Our volunteers have a heart for children and are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your little ones while you enjoy a time of worship with other adults. We offer nursery care for infants and toddlers, along with classes for those through 5th grade. Age-appropriate music, games, crafts and Bible stories help children grow in their spiritual formation.
For K-5th grade there are both small group and large group elements of the program.
Point to the Truth – This small group activity, discussion, or visual prepares kids for one of the key points coming up in the day’s Bible lesson.
Proclaim the Truth – Children combine in a large group session where they sing songs and hear the Bible story.
Practice the Truth – Kids return to their small groups to complete a follow-up activity which reinforces the lesson.
